What is an NFT?

NFT stands for non-fungible token. Think of them as digital objects that are unique (“non-fungible”) and irreplaceable. With something like a Picasso, you have the artist’s signature in the corner. You can then bring it to an expert who can verify that it's an original Picasso. In its most basic form, the NFT is a digital signature that you can put on your digital artwork, which lets you prove ownership of the assets and prove who created them.

When buying an NFT, what are the associated fees?

There are two types of fees associated with purchasing an NFT: commission fees and gas fees. Commission fees can be set by creators, owners, or gallerists and will be indicated by the marketplace when making a purchase or a bid. Gas fees are usage fees for the Ethereum network that will be indicated by your Ethereum wallet when making a purchase.

Can I take my NFT to resell on another site?

Yes, you can list your NFTs for sale on another marketplace. The re-sale fees will be determined by the selling platform.

Can I gift an NFT?

Yes, you can gift an NFT as it is essentially the process of transferring an NFT from your wallet to someone else’s wallet.

How can I display my NFT artworks?
